The materials are dyed with indigo which give a rich deep blue color. It is often called Echigo indigo dyeing. The Y. & SONS “Hawks Feather” Logo is on the front placket of the jacket. The large crest on the back is the “Mountain horn” character.The design on the inside of the coat is called “Matsukawabishi" or “Pine Tree Bark” The material is Sashiko. Y. & SONS オリジナルの扇子　和紙草木染扇子 明治32年（1899年）、団扇・扇子・日めくり・引き札専門店として創業した杉山江見堂に別注を依頼し、製作いたしました。 この扇子は、楮の手漉和紙を一枚一枚、柄に合わせて折ったり、絞ったりして草木（植物染料）で染色したこだわりの扇子です。 和紙は、ユネスコ世界無形文化遺産登録の「本美濃紙」を扇子用に漉いた極薄の最上級和紙を使用しています。また、扇骨は滋賀県高島市産の上質な骨を使用しています。 野山や、庭の草や木には、葉や樹皮、実などに豊かな色を宿しています。それらの色が熟成する時期に採取し、煮出して染色しています。また、媒染（色素の定着と発色）により一つの草木から異なる色が生まれるのも魅力の一つです。 和紙の持つ優しさやぬくもりと、草木からいただいた自然からの色と心地よい風をお楽しみください。 きものやゆかたに合わせていただくのはもちろんのこと、普段の生活に取り入れてお使いください。 6寸5分（195mm）25間 骨　唐木染竹 和紙草木染　染料　藍 日本製 ※扇骨に伽羅の香料を含ませております。 ※　International shipping is available. Y. & SONS Original Natural Dyed Fan Founded in 1899, The Sugiyama Emido workshop has been making fans, calendars, and many other traditional Japanese paper crafts. We have commissioned this renowned workshop to create one of a kind fans for our store. This fan is an excellent product made with carefully selected materials and craftsmanship. We have chosen to use the highest quality "Hon Mino" paper made of 100% mulberry by craftsman Tadashi Sawamura. This paper is officially recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. Dye is made by boiling the bark, fruits, grasses and trees in an underground dye vat. Many different techniques are used to prepare the paper for dying such as folding and shibori(tie dye). Please enjoy the delicate color and pleasant breeze. Made in Japan

Y. & SONS オリジナル・コレクションより 文久元年(1861年)創業、博多織最古の織元、西村織物にて製織。 「桧垣」の文様が織られた帯です。 今まで様々な模様で帯を作ってきましたが、今回は国内外問わず身近に見える景色を柄にしたいという想いから、日本の石畳を思わせる「桧垣」を柄にしました。 こちらの角帯は、博多織伝統の総浮(そううけ)で織りられており、帯全体に配された浮経(うけたて)と呼ばれる経糸を通常よりも多く使用しています。 巾：2寸5分(約9.5cm) 素材：絹100% 日本製 ※　International shipping is available. From Y. & SONS Original Collection This obi was woven by Nishimura Orimono, the oldest weaver of Hakata textiles, established in 1861. This obi is woven with a "hinokaki" pattern. We have made obis with a variety of patterns, but this time we wanted to use a pattern of scenery that is familiar to people in Japan and abroad, so we chose "Hinokaki," which is reminiscent of Japanese cobblestones. This square obi is woven with the traditional Hakata-ori "so-uke" technique, which uses more warp threads, called ukiyoe, than usual throughout the entire obi.
