The fabric also has excellent breathability leaving the wearer comfortable without feeling stuffy. The coat can also be worn in many different ways depending on how it’s tied, letting you constantly reinvent your own look. Developed in Norway by outerwear specialty brand “Norwegian Rain” founded in 2009 in Bergen where it is said to rain once every three days. Based off the style of Firemen’s coats in Edo Times (1603-1867). The Konni weaving and dying workshop was founded in 1751 in Niigata Prefecture. The materials are dyed with indigo which give a rich deep blue color. It is often called Echigo indigo dyeing. The Y. & SONS “Hawks Feather” Logo is on the front placket of the jacket. The large crest on the back is the “Mountain horn” character.The design on the inside of the coat is called “Yoshiwara Tsunagi” The material is Sashiko.
