Y. & SONS オリジナルの風呂敷 着物一式をまとめて包む風呂敷を作りたい——そんな思いから、2021年11月より展開しているリネン素材の風呂敷。 シルクやコットンとはまた異なる、リネンならではの風合いや色合いにとことんこだわって仕上げました。多くのお客様にご好評をいただき、このたび待望の新作が完成しました。 今回は、Y. & SONS定番のきもの〈片貝木綿〉の“格子”柄をベースに新たな型を起こし、京都にて「ろうけつ染め」で表現しています。生地には、これまでの「炭染め」と同様にオーガニックリネンを使用。 「ろうけつ染め」とは、溶かした蝋で布地に防染（染まらない）部分を作り、その上から染料をかけて模様を表現する技法です。蝋を手で揉み込むことで割れが生じ、そこに染料が入り込むことで、唯一無二の模様が生まれます。さらにその上から黒の染料を引き染めすることで、蝋のひび割れ部分に色が入り、プリントでは表現できない、手仕事ならではの味わい深い染め上がりに仕上がっています。 着物一式を包むのはもちろん、荷物の持ち運びや敷物、ソファ掛けとしてなど、さまざまな用途にお使いいただけます。使い込むほどに生地の風合いが柔らかくなり、より馴染んでいきます。 素材：麻100％ オーガニックリネン サイズ：97.5cm×97.5cm 染め：ろうけつ染め 日本製

This product is a custom order from Honno Hakimono Kogyo, established in 1948 in Hita, Oita Prefecture. This item is a blend of both Slippers and Geta, therefore called, Slitta. Hita City, can be found in the Oita Prefecture. Hita city is known mainly for its production of high quality ceder and lumber related industries. The industry progressed naturally around here due to its access to the Chikugo River (Upstream, Mikuma River) The production of Geta in this region developed rapidly during the Tempou era (1830~1844) when Hita was encouraged by the local government to increase their industry.. Initially, Geta were mainly made of paulownia wood. By the Meiji and Taisho(mid 19th century to early 20th century) Geta of high quality cedar and pine were also produced in the Hita basin. After 1907, machines were gradually introduced into the circle of production, and Hita Geta were distributed all over Japan, becoming one of the three major Geta production areas along with Shizuoka and Matsunaga (Hiroshima) in terms of both quantity and quality. Though Hita were one of the main centers in the past for their creation of Geta, They are still a main player in the industry today. Initially, Geta were mainly made of paulownia wood. By the Meiji and Taisho(mid 19th century to early 20th century) Geta of high quality cedar and pine were also produced in the Hita basin. After 1907, machines were gradually introduced into the circle of production, and Hita Geta were distributed all over Japan, becoming one of the three major Geta production areas along with Shizuoka and Matsunaga (Hiroshima) in terms of both quantity and quality. Though Hita were one of the main centers in the past for their creation of Geta, They are still a main player in the industry today. きもの着用時の悩みとして多い“帯結びの難しさ”を解消すべく、博多織最古の織元・西村織物と協業して開発した新発想の帯です。 Y. & SONSではブランド創設以来、着物の着用における“帯結び”のハードルを下げるべく、さまざまなアプローチを重ねてきました。ベルトで留めるきものや、ウール・タオル地による兵児帯の開発もその一環です。 今回開発した「締帯」は、シンプルで扱いやすい「伊達締め」の構造を応用し、伝統的な角帯の凛とした端正な佇まいを損なわず、兵児帯のような扱いやすさを実現させた帯です。 締帯の特徴 ①結びやすさ：帯の両端を柔らかく織り上げ、伊達締めのように簡単に結ぶことが可能。きものが初めての方にも扱いやすい仕様です。 ②格式ある意匠：伝統柄「鬼華皿献上」を採用し、博多織特有の凛とした表情もお楽しみいただけます。 ③幅広いサイズ展開：S・M・Lの3サイズをご用意し、多様な体型に対応します。 Sサイズ : 長さ 約3m20cm 巾：2寸4分(約9cm) Mサイズ : 長さ約3m40cm 巾：2寸4分(約9cm) Lサイズ : 長さ4ｍ 巾：2寸4分(約9cm) 素材：絹100% 日本製 This is a new concept of obi (sash belt) developed in collaboration with Nishimura Orimono, the oldest weaver of Hakata textiles, to solve the “difficulty of tying an obi,” which is a common problem when wearing a kimono. Since its establishment, Y. & SONS has taken various approaches to lower the hurdle of “obi knotting” when wearing kimonos. The development of belt-fastening kimonos and wool/towel heko obis is part of this effort. The newly developed “shime obi” applies the simple and easy-to-handle structure of the “date-jime” to create an obi that is as easy to handle as a heko obi, without sacrificing the dignified and neat appearance of a traditional kaku obi. Features of Shime obi (1) Ease of tying: Both ends of the obi are softly woven together, making it easy to tie like a date-shime. It is also easy to handle for those who are new to kimono. (2) Prestigious design: The traditional pattern “Onihanazara Dedication” is used, and the dignified look unique to Hakata-ori can also be enjoyed. 宮城県鳴子のあけび蔓細工の職人 和島常男さんを師に、あけび蔓細工の魅力を届けている籠心。 Y. & SONS では、オリジナルの籠バッグを籠心さんに特別注文し、お作りいただいております。 小ぶりのサコッシュで、左右で異なる編み方を組み合わせてお作りいただきました。 目の詰まった並編みと、透け感のあるこだし編みの、異なる編み方を掛け合わせており、編み模様の切り替えが美しいのも魅力の一つです。 籠心さんのものづくりは、山に入って蔓を採取するところから始まります。 山で採られた蔓はコブや節を削り、紐状にして乾燥させ、太さごとに分けられていきます。 蔓採りから編み始めるまでの準備に多くの時間を費やしますが、こうした丁寧な素材作りと編みの技術が籠心さんの魅力の一つです。 昨年の好評に引き続き、このサコッシュにきもの糸や羽織紐といった、私たちが大切にするものづくりの要素（素材）を取り入れてもらいたいと思い、この新作のサコッシュを製作していただきました。 編み目の一部に、福岡県の織物”久留米絣”を織る際に使用する余ってしまう括り糸を使用しています。 “括(くく)り糸” とは、その織り上がる生地の柄を計算し、染まらないようにしたい箇所に括り付けた防染するためのもので、これまでは一度役割を終えると捨てられてきました。 この括り糸を再利用したいという想いから、取り入れました。 また、きものにおける帯締めや羽織紐などを手掛ける組紐職人さんに依頼をして、肩掛け用のストラップを製作していただきました。 たて20cm×よこ16.5cm×マチ8cm 紐の長さ 最長65cm 日本製 ◇籠心について・・・ 文化服装学院卒業後、アパレルメーカーでパタンナーとして勤務。1999年三軒茶屋でカレー専門店ASIAN SOUL開業。2014年に仙台へ移住。その後、宮城県鳴子温泉のcafé『さとのわ光種』で月に1回間借りカレーとしてASIAN SOULのカレーを提供。地元の住民や文化とふれあいながら過ごす中、鳴子のあけび蔓細工職人和島常男さんと出会う。和島さんが編む美しいあけび籠の魅力に惹かれ、ご本人と山に入り蔓の採り方、籠の編み方を一から教わり手習いを受ける。2022年あけび蔓細工『籠心』として活動を開始。
