Y. & SONS 定番のシルクきもの、“十日町紬”

単色ではない撚り糸を用いて、杉綾模様で織っていただきました。
また地色の紺色に対して、撚り糸の赤色が縞のような柄になっているのも特徴です。
シルク素材のため軽く、上品な艶も魅力の１つです。

新潟県・十日町には、雪国ならではの風土から生まれた織物があります。それらは「十日町絣」や「十日町明石ちぢみ」と呼ばれ、今もなお作られています。

「雪中に糸となし、雪中に織り、雪水に酒(そそ)ぎ、雪上に晒(さらす)す。雪ありて縮(ちぢみ)あり」
“江戸期の雪国百科全書” といわれる『北越雪譜』に書かれた文言です。当時の流行色には「黒」や「鼠色系」が挙げられます。江戸時代の浮世絵師 喜多川歌麿の『深川の雪』にも書かれているように、この黒と鼠色は深川芸者の間でも「いき色」として流行しました。

時は明治5年(1872年)、遡ること150年前に創業した “蕪重織物”。Y. & SONS は立ち上げ以来、この蕪重織物とともに十日町の絹織物をオリジナル商品としてつくってきました。

"Kabu-ju textile" was founded 150 years ago in 1872.
Since its foundation, Y. & SONS has been making silk fabrics
from Tokamachi as original products along with Kabu-ju
textiles.

This item has the brand's classic "Seven Three ratio" pattern.
It is a fabric that can give out individuality by patterning.

*We also accept tailoring with liners, too. With additional
cost to the liner.
