材料は「山北町(さんぽくまち)」(現・村上市)という新潟県の最北端にある山で採取されたものです。山形県との県境になります。

籠は使えば使うほど艶が増し、味が出てきます。いつでも持っていたくなる、そんな愛着が湧いてきます。

Mountain Grapevine-wood Basket Bag

Masterfully crafted from grapevine wood from Sanpokumachi (now Murakami City), a mountainous area in the northmost part of the Niigata Prefecture, bordering on the Yamagata Prefecture

The more the basket bag is used, the more lustrous the wood becomes, acquiring patina with age adding to its depth and beauty.
