【OUTDOOR KIMONO とは 】
着物屋「やまと」とアウトドアメーカー「スノーピーク」との、着物で楽しむ日本らしいアウトドアの雛型を一緒に創りたい、という想いから 2018 年春に誕生しました。コンセプトは、「アウトドアシーンで気軽に着ることができる KIMONO 」。ボタンとバックルベルトで留められるようになっており、和装の仕立ての美しさを保ちながら、帯なしで着用できる気軽さが特徴です。

今回の2020 年秋冬モデルでは、アウトドアフィールドで快適に過ごすことのできる機能性を備えながら、より日常的に街でも着ていただきやすいデザインにアップデートを施し、より街とアウトドアをシームレスに行き来できるコレクションとなっています。

リサイクルポリエステルとアラミド繊維を混紡した表地に、耐久性に優れた撥水加工と防風加工を施しました。加えて裏地には通常のポリエステルの約2分の1の軽さでありながら急な天候や温度変化に対応しうる「 Octa® 」を採用。フードは取り外し可能となっており、街でもアウトドアでも気軽に羽織れる快適な着心地を実現。

[What is OUTDOOR KIMONO?]

From the brands “Kimono Yamato” and the outdoor brand "Snow Peak", a desire to create a Japanese-style collection that can be worn in the outdoors while still remaining true to the traditional Japanese silhouette .

The outer material, which is a blend of recycled polyester and aramid is treated with water-repellent and windproof treatment for excellent durability. In addition, the lining is made of "Octa®", which is about half as light as normal polyester though can withstand sudden weather and temperature changes. The hood is removable, making it easy to wear in the city or outdoors.
